Eligibility Criteria for Contractual Appointment

To be eligible for the Technical Assistant position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Age Limit: The age limit will be as per the provisions determined by the General Administration Department, Bihar, Patna, for appointments in services as of the advertisement date. The minimum age of applicants will be calculated as of April 1, 2025, which is 18 years.

• Horizontal Reservation for Persons with Disabilities: A 4% horizontal reservation will be admissible for persons with disabilities, as per General Administration Department Resolution Memo No. 962, dated January 22, 2021.
• Reservation for Grandchildren of Freedom Fighters: A 2% reservation will be admissible for the grandchildren of State freedom fighters, as per General Administration Department Letter No. 2526, dated February 28, 2016.

Terms and Conditions of Employment

• No Government Employee Status: Individuals appointed on a contractual basis will not be considered government servants, nor will they be entitled to any facilities admissible to government servants.
